About criticism

Some time passed, I've uploaded a few new photos, made some comments...

And one thought occurred to me. Do comments have to be positive? I mean, ALWAYS?

My sister - and some of my friends - keep saying that I shouldn't leave a comment if I don't like somebody's work. I don't agree with them.

When I see a great piece of art with one detail spoiling it, I leave a comment with my opinion. Maybe it's stupid, but I consider criticism a good thing, as it helps an artist to improve his/her style. It is my opinion, nothing more or less. Of course, it can be ignored.

I'm wondering about it all the time. What's Your opinion?

Niestety, padły mi dyski twarde. Jak odzyskam, to może i zacznę fotografować? Póki co nie mam na czym robić backupów :)
